He gets a job at a music store owned by A.R. Rehman (Gulshan Grover), where he meets Shagun (Soha Ali Khan), a radio jockey who works at the same store. Shagun develops a crush on Nikhil and tries to help him get over Neha.
Nikhil also meets Sara (Tulip Joshi), an NRI girl who comes to India to learn classical music from Ustad Sultan Khan (Zarina Wahab). Sara is impressed by Nikhil's simplicity and honesty and falls in love with him. Nikhil finds himself in a dilemma as he has to choose between three girls who love him. He realizes that he still loves Neha and decides to propose to her. However, he faces a twist when he learns that Neha's fiance is none other than his boss A.R. Rehman.
